LSPDFR Plugin crashes going on duty

Featured Replies

I've been trying to find out what makes LSPDFR crash once I go on duty but other plugins like my callout packs load fine. Here's my crash log and I use Dynamic Lighting System instead of ELS if anyone else asks.

Hey there!

I've taken a look at your crash which is:

The 'Vehicles' start tag on line 3263 position 6 does not match the end tag of 'VehicleSet'. Line 3332, position 6.

This error seems to be originating from SpecialUnits.xml (which I presume you've tried editing) in GTAV/Plugins/LSPDFR/UltimateBackup.

Please take a look at this line - and make sure your XML nodes (like <Vehicles>) have their corresponding closing nodes (like </Vehicles>).

If you need further help, there are plenty of XML validators online or feel free to ask me.

Let me know how you get on! 😄

So I'm still getting crashes despite going to an XML validator and it found no errors. I'll just throw the log again if you spot anything different than the previous one.

Sure thing here you go.

SpecialUnits.xml

Actually, disregard I just found out what's causing it. It's my DefaultRegions.xml file since I decided to test my other XMLs on an XML validator.

Sorry I mistyped the name wrong it is indeed my DefaultRegions.xml not the Custom. I'll check back later if it that worked.

I was able to load lspdfr just fine it was both CustomRegions and DefaultRegions so I installed a fresh copy from UtimateBack EUP configs. However, I made copies of the files I've modified before I replaced them with the fresh ones so you can take a look in every case someone else has the same issue. Thank you both for the help I appreciate it.

From the CustomRegions that you sent, I have fixed it. You had two Vehicle start tags in the section mentioned in your log. Here is the file back. Obviously rename and add it.
