When i start the game from epic and then click rph it will say validate and then it will just exit. The problem is windows defender is quarantining it as a severe threat and this is the first time it has ever done this.

 

"detected: Behavior:Win32/DefenseEvasion.A!ml

Quarantined files are in a restricted area where they cant harm your device. They will be removed automatically.

 Afected items:

Every time i click on it windows defender pops up and the above is what it says.

 

Update: after going to actions and clicking on allow it now works but should i be worried? lol

Just to make sure we’re talking about the same message on the download page : 

 

There it says that LSPDFR can cause a false positive - and not Rage Plugin Hook. That’s why I ( and probably also others ) are a bit confused. So the detection considering RPH is also a false positive ?

The message does and always has applied to both. I will change the language to make this more clear.
