I got onto gta iv from steam and i turn on lcpdfr and go to a station, then i pick out my guy and go outside to pick my car.  When i go through all the default cars its normal but when i go to the modded els car, my car doesn't spawn and my guy just stands up and the buildings by me dissappear... does anybody know how to fix this problem so that i can actually pick the car and play?

the easy thing to do is just to find another car to use (you might wanna try a low poly car) as some cars does request more power then others

gta-downloads.com has a vehicles.img backup, you can get a lot of original files from there :)

EDIT: here is a direct link to the backups http://www.gta-downloads.com/en/gta4/file-backups/

I had that happen on my recent gta reinstall (never happened before). just one of these weird bugs

i just use snt or police helper to spawn the cars i want. i no longer even go to the station (force duty ftw)
