Game now crashes after installing a car as usual in the fbi slot

Featured Replies

my game was working absolutely fine, installed a new car in fbi slot and suddenly my game crashes in the loading screen

when i undid what i replaced it with and put things how they were before nothing changed, still crashes which is weird because as I said I'd put things back the way they were when it was working

Any ideas are appreciated

Install these 3 (1, 2, 3) if you haven't already. You could also try deleting the vehicles.rpf and copying it again from your non-mods directory to make sure that your car files are 100% vanilla

Thank you, I will try this now.

I have also tried removing the mods folder entirely as that folder is the only folder I ever downloaded mods in, never the base game.

For some reason after simply replacing 1 vehicle, It no longer loads up with or without the mods folder so this is a weird one because no changes have been made to any other folders or files since it last worked

You can try removing every modded thing in your directory (including every modded .asi file, scripts or anything similar) and maybe disabling the antivirus. Sometimes problems don't seem related to it but it's still the issue
