Game Crashes After Attempting to Install DLC Pack

My game crashes and doesn't load after I installed a DLC pack. When I first attempted, I had meant to install the folder that includes the dlc pack but instead i mistakenly installed the dlc.rpf directly so I canceled it while it was installing and reinstalled it. I followed the instructions provided in the LSPDFR Tutorial. How to install a DLC Pack.

Since you canceled while installing dlc.rpf, that is a major red flag. If OpenIV was writing to it and you stopped it, the archive can easily be corrupted.

Remove the DLC completely

Go to: mods\update\x64\dlcpacks\
Delete the entire folder of the DLC you installed.
Then go to:
mods\update\update.rpf\common\data\
Open dlclist.xml
Remove the line you added for that DLC.
Example:
<Item>dlcpacks:/yourdlc/</Item>
Save it.

Verify Your Game Files (IMPORTANT)
If you're on Steam:
Open Steam
Right click Grand Theft Auto V
Properties
Installed Files
Verify Integrity
This ensures your base files are clean.

Reinstall the DLC Properly

If this DLC adds vehicles or replaces many files, you need a compatible gameconfig

Check Gameconfig

Check Heap Adjuster

Check Packfile Limit Adjuster

If it still crashes:

Post the RagePluginHook.log file that is located in the main game folder.
Leave me the link to what you're trying to add.
