Anyone know what this is? I get about 2 of those animated load screens, then GTA IV Crashes with

GeForce GTX 660ti 2gb 'Superclocked' with latest drivers
Windows 7 professional 64bit
GTA IV Disk version, patched to v0.7

However, I have backed up all my files to the originals, deleted my savegame, and restarted my computer. Still nothing. I'd like to avoid the hassle of reinstalling my game, but it looks like that's my last option. SMPA30 only gets a few results on google, and none have the solution.

Dont think im bad mouthing LCPDFR but.... People on Multi-player say that its LCPDFR that causes the error. I dont think thats true though.

I've had that problem when I modeled cars. Most likely a bad car mod that's causing it. 

Turns out it was an error with pedVariation.dat. I've got it fixed now. We're good. 

(In the event that someone comes across this via google, replace with backups: componentped.img and your common/data folder. It should fix it. If not, try a new save game, restarting your computer, etc.)

For the record, in case anyone else looks at this in the future.. mine was caused by a WEAPONS.ivaud file / resident.rpf
