Female peds always have the wrong pants.

Featured Replies

Every time a female cop shows up, regardless of if they are city, county, or state police, they always have the wrong pants on. My state police have sheriff pants on, city police don't even have the correct uniform on. I've tried going into my files on openIV and changing the number for what the peds spawn with, but the females still spawn with the wrong stuff. Pants being the biggest issue, but hats will also be an issue. It's gotten to the point where I just set all female spawn chances to 0 in my Ultimate Backup file, but they still spawn and still spawn with the incorrect uniforms. I do have custom uniforms, but it doesn't make sense that even if I chance the number in the files, they still have the wrong stuff on.

It would be one thing if both males and females had this issue so it would be obvious that is just the files that have an issues but the male peds are perfectly fine and rarely, if ever, have an issue with the wrong uniforms. Can anyone explain why this is?

Either because it is defaulting to another xml in UltimateBackup or using the default LSPDFR configs.

When you changed the number did the pants also change (still wrong type) or is it always the same type of pants that spawns?  Do you use EUP or the LSPDFR uniforms?  Also when you call Backup from Ultimate Backup and when you don't call backup, meaning the (female) officer just spawns at a station or for transport for example, do the wrong pants show up there?  I ask this because to check the different clothing (pants, hats, shirts, duty belt, etc) depends on which files the game is getting the uniforms from.   If you use EUP then we would have to check the EUP files ini.  Ultimate Backup ini files for uniforms might fall under the Custom Regions or Default Regions in the UB folder.  If you use just normal LSPDFR then those uniform files would be LSPDFR Folder/Data Folder then Agency or Regions XML is where uniforms can be found.

Also, if you use EUP then there is a EUP Basic or Ultimate that you can download and install and the usually fixes all uniform problems related to EUP.

I use EUP and when I change the number for the males it works fine but females still have to issue. Its also mostly the ambient female peds and transport that have the issue though they still have this issue even when I call for backup from Ultimate Backup.

Just found out that instead of using what I set in the Ultimate Backup files in plugins, it is using the files in the lspdfr file under data. Is there anyway I can fix this so they use the Ultimate Backup file instead?

You can try installing an EUP config for Ultimate Backup.
