Can this native be used to create extra emergency vehicles?

Featured Replies

Hi LCPDFR,

As the title claims im wondering if this native can be used to add extra emergency vehicles.

The native is called "CreateEmergencyServicesCar" if this works is it possible to create extra emergency vehicles? (such as police5).

Thanks,

Natives don't really work like that. In general, they are limited to manipulating objects, not types of objects. So, for example, that method could spawn an emergency car (such as police2), but it wouldn't change the type of a vehicle. If it did make a preexisting car into an emergency car, it would likely be called something more like "SetIsEmergencyVehicle".

You can use a "addedvehicle.img" for original GTA IV, taken from EFLC. They give you all there extra cars, including police3, policeb, police 4 and pbus.

They all have light and sirens!

If you want the link google it, or I'll try to find it!

pbus has lights as well? Awesome!

EDIT:

IsEmergencyVehicle also wouldn't do what you want. From the sound of it, that just tests whether a particular car is an emergency vehicle (assuming it's a function; if it's a variable, it *might* work, but not necessarily).
