Leave engine running after getting out?

Featured Replies

Hello my virtual law enforcement brethren. I've been searching endlessly for a solution to the problem of the vehicle engine turning off every single time my character exits. I know in real world policing, the car stays running at almost all times. I can't seem to find any guidance on this despite having looked in every conceivably place online and even having beseeched the wisdom of the famed SGT Benzo from YouTube who suggested using the F4 vehicle sub-menu which only works temporarily and it would be extremely tedious to have to engage with this menu every time I exit the car to turn the engine back on. It also is totally unrealistic. The quick and dirty fix of getting out, punching and getting back in to the vehicle is likewise not viable as it doesn't work. Do you guys know of any plugins that enable you to keep the engine running?

Hey there,

Most trainers include such functionality. If you haven't installed one already, I would recommend doing so.

Thank you for the excellent suggestion; one which I had not actually contemplated. Incidentally, I'm also a huge Naya Rivera fan. In pace requiescat.
