After a short stay in the hospital, I came home with a vengeance and GTA V was going to be my weapon. I gave it a fresh install and followed everything to the letter. I cannot understand why when I am in the locker room and have chosen to be a cop in LSPD I cannot go any further, i.e I can not get to the locker to get my uniform I never had this problem before but none of the cursor keys or otherwise allows me to configure any further, Please advise or help.

 Sounds like a post on discord (is it you? : )
You should be able to browse through the LSPDFR menus with NUMPAD keys - and +, if you have invoked NUMLOCK
Selecting an item should work with ENTER.
..should because a post on discord also have issues with the numpad-key-block..

What you could try is to use console and enter forceDuty, but i am not sure it works if you have not made a officer-avatar first

On that note, i have had no joy now this is beginningg to make me pull what little hair I have left out of my scalp. i have been playing this for yearss and never encountered this problem and now I need to unwind it wants to be a bitch. What I have tried is using the keys from a fresh installation when I use the keys (cursor arrow keys) no issue I can scroll up and down the menu to my heart's content. When i bind the movement for walking and driving to the four arrow keys i can then no longer scroll through the menus of abd interaction. The movement keys are by default assigned to the ASDW but being left handed and being old school I prefer to use the cursor keys which have been a doddle until nowI just don't know what else to try.

Yes! I also uses left hand on my mouse, and make movements with the arrow-keys, and that works fine for me. There are no issues with any GTAV-menus
However All LSPDFR menus must be navigated with NUMPAD-'-' for UP and NUMPAD-'+' for DOWN. Selecting the focused item is done with ENTER
Why that does not work for you and the one from Discord baffles me completely ..
My only guess is that it is something 'oddness' with your keyboard
I have only made arrow-keys-setup changes in GTAV-base-game, (arrow-keys added as second-option) nothing has been
changed in LSPDFR-key setup
 

I Tried using the Numpad keys and didn't get a peek out of them, then again I am beginning to question the process as a simple native trainer is assigned to the Numpad keys for usage. I will attempt to try again removing the trainer and see if it makes a difference. keep you posted. 

Hi there, apologies for the delay, had a short stint in the hospital and only got discharged over the weekend. I found out last night that if i don't configure any of the keys the menu manipulation works as normal I am just so used to using my cursor keys for forward and backward etc the WSDA does nothing for my ego and its been a while since I gave a keyboard a good kicking. all said and done what I have done as a workaround is do the police locker thing and ensure it saves once past that scenario then I can add more modes and configure till the cows come home without having to make the air blue. Thank you sincerely for your suggestions and hope what I have related will help anyone else out with the same issue.
