way to reduce ambient police vehicles?

Featured Replies

Firstly, thank you guys for creating what has genuinely been the most immersive, realistic and indeed, addictive gaming experience I've ever had. And this is coming from a guy who has been gaming since the days of the original Wolfenstein and Doom. I'm not sure whether this is the proper venue for such an inquiry as it may seemingly pertain more to the general game features but, is there any way to reduce the per capita presence of random ambient police patrol vehicles that are spawned when driving around? I play as an LSSD deputy and it just seems a bit silly when about 30% of the vehicle traffic in many areas consists of fellow sheriff patrol units, as though I'm in an actual police state (the antithesis of California). I am using some custom vehicles from the BCSD pack but I can't conceive of how that would have any discernable effect on this variable. Any insights or recommendations would be hugely appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Go into your lspdfr.ini and reduce values of these options: AmbientSpawn.MaxCopsInArea ; AmbientSpawn.MaxSpawnedCopsInArea.

Thank you very much my good sir. I had been wondering about those lines and I will try running the game again after making the adjustments. Thanks again.
