Is there a way to make the M4 semi-automatic, like real rifles tend to be? I tried increasing the weapon time between shots in WeaponInfo.xml, but it had no effect.

    I doubt that it would be a possibility (it may be) but from what I can ascertain there are no selector buttons on the weapons to allow changing fire mode. You may be able to configure the M4 to be a sniper rifle (PSG1 look-alike slot) which would make it semi-automatic but I'm unsure what kind of side-effects you would encounter (scope etc).
