Ever since the recent updates my trainer wont open. I was utilizing the simple trainer using the F3 Key and after the updates for some reason it wont open when I hit F3. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it which rendered negative results. I then uninstalled it and installed the enhanced native trainer and that didnt work as well. Any help would be appreciated thank you! 

Do you have OpenIV?  If so then  open it and up on top where it says tools, click that and go to ASI Manager.  Check if ASI Loader and OpenIV.ASI is installed.  If not then click install.  Try that.

Also Make sure you have updated scripthookv and the asiloader, that comes with it.

What's the ASI loader that comes with scripthook?  Comes with the native trainer.  I use simple trainer instead.  And Dinput.  There's a scripthookdotnet asi but that is from the dot net downloads.  Just want to make sure I wasn't missing something.  Everything works for me though as is. 

Everything is installed in openIV I checked that first. And everything has been updated since the 17th or 18th after the new update released. Honestly not sure whats happening, kinda weird.

There is a new update to it, Simple Trainer version 14.6.  Download and install.

Hope it was just an outdated trainer.  Let us know. 

 

Yea unfortunately the updated trainer didn't fix the issue. May just have to do the good ol'fashion wipe it and reinstall everything.

its the file that loads nearly all .asi files that are in the main directory.

That's unfortunate.  I hope you have a vanilla version of the game for backup.  I have a vanilla and modded version in my Rockstar folder.  That will same you some time on a re-install.   On a vanilla version you also should keep that game version up to date when there is a title update.  That's how I manage mine.

I had the same issue and did a little digging (after posting on the forum) but found that gameconfig might be the issue since it was also updated. I updated it and now everything works. File is replaced within OpenIV.

 

 

Lol yep, it was the gameconfig thank you everyone and @ArriveAlive for the fix!
