Modifying update.rpf breaks game

Featured Replies

When I try to modify the update/update2.rpf files, it causes the game to crash upon loading story mode. When I uninstall the openIV asi loader, it fixes everything. Please help. There are no crash reports.

What file inside update2.rpf are you editing? i dont think update2 takes any files that u should be editing

Ill point you to this post, it shows my folder structure, as you can see, i have no update2.rpf as that file has no files you need to touch that i know of

I meant the problem happens when I modify either of the files, but I believe the dlclist is to blame

what are you trying to add to the dlc list, maybe your entering the informatin wrong

are you trying to add a dlc modded car to the dlc list?

if so, did you install the other required mods that are needed for ALL modded cars

*** Gameconfig.xml for LML or manual install - The download page for this game config says you need LML for it to work, altho im using it with out LML and it works just fine, try at your own risk

Packfile Limit Adjuster 1.2

HeapAdjuster 1.0

*** there is this version of the game config that you could also try too, altho this version dint work for me

Gameconfig (1.0.2802) for Limitless Vehicles V30
