GTA V crashing right after loading Rage Hook with NVE

Featured Replies

Hey, friends!

I've recently installed GTA V and then proceeded to install LSPDFR and all its dependencies. It worked great. Today, I decided to install Natural Vision Evolved (and its dependencies). While the vanilla game can load normally with NVE installed, as soon as I load Rage Hook as to be able to play LSPDRF, the game crashes.

I've uninstalled NVE and it went back to working as normal, so it seems to definitely be that. There's not a lot of information about these two causing crashes online, but so far, from a few recommendations, I've changed PluginTimeoutThreshold to 60000 and installed Packfile Limit and none seem to help.

I've attempted to start Rage Hook during the loadup, during the game, and on the starting screen, where you can choose to initiate story mode. The only place it doesn't seem to immediately crash is on this last one, but then I will select story mode, it will say that it's loading story mode with the rage hook, and then there will be one or two weird beeps and crash.

I've attatched the crash report to the post. Hopefully, someone has a solution.

Thanks in beforehand!

To compliment,

Here is the log annexxed. From what I've gathered, the "Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt." is usually because of permission issues or an antivirus messing with the program. I'm not sure why it would only do so when attempting to hook on a GTA with NVE working in it, but I've added the folder as an exclusion to Windows Defender (my only antivirus) and given full permission to every user and system in the folder security properties and the issue persist (this log is the latest attempt, after both of these methods were tried).

No, it usually has nothing to do with that if being raised by LSPDFR. If that error is being raised by LSPDFR, it usually means the game has returned an error when LSPDFR has tried to ask the game to do something via natives. In this case, we asked the game to load the multiplayer map, and your game returned an error. The issue exists in your mods folder. I've heard numerous people mentioning this with NVE, so perhaps it breaks the multiplayer map loading in some way or you didn't install it correctly.

Same problem here, it worked before updating gta, rage, Lspdfr, and  scripthook. Lspdfr works, and NVE works. But together just crashing. I even tried downloading each optional file, individually to see if it’s a particular one but it’s just NVE and Lspdfr compatibility after update 2802 I guess.
