Hello,

I want to get back into LSPDFR after I stopped playing for a while.

I started off with a clean install from Steam.

 

Everything went well until I wanted to install some cars.

I installed DLS and tried to install the following cars: https://www.lcpdfr.com/downloads/gta5mods/vehiclemodels/35300-non-els-dls-royal-canadian-mounted-police-pack/

 

These add a new DLC folder which needs to be added to the dlclist.xml

 

After doing this the game crashed on startup. So I installed a custom gameconfig (https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gta-5-gameconfig-300-cars/download/140857) ("More mods" -> "Basic"), PackfileLimitAdjuster and HeapAdjuster

 

Now the problem: With this, the game is stuck on the RPH loading screen after the plugins are all loaded (DLS and LSPDFR)

When I change back the gameconfig to my original it loads again, but I have to revert the dlclist.xml

 

I tried a few different gameconfigs but all seem to either crash or result in an infinite loading screen.

Can someone help me out?

I dont mean to be rude, but do people aceually know how to read?

The main game gta 5 was just updated , and if you did some reading , you would see the last time that config was upadted was "V29 (current)

514,170 downloads , 4.47 MB -July 30, 2022" so my guess would be that it needs to be updated to work with the new gta update, maybe ask the guy in the comments of the mod to update his mod.... you can also see in the comments that people are asking, so maybe wait? i know right, you have to wait, wow

or you could downgrade (if you made a backup, but since your saying stuff isnt working, i bet you dint backup ur game) your gta to a version before the update and play that

(thats what i did, i made a copy on a different harddrive of my pc called (Grand Theft Auto V - Backup with working lspdfr 12.11.22" this way i can go in that folder and copy every file from there to the main gta folder after it updated

You could have just read at the beginning and the end of my post and simply tell me that there aren't any up to date versions? 

 

I of course don't have recent backups when I stopped playing for a while. 

And from playing back in the day I didn't remember gameconfigs are version dependent 

 

Anyways I will just wait for an updated version then, thanks. 

As a workaround I have removed the following DLC from dlclist.xml:
mpheist4

mpsecurity

patchday24ng

patchday26ng

 

This allowed me to add the car DLC to the list without any issues.

Just to let you know, the creater of "Gameconfig (1.0.2802) for Limitless Vehicles" looks like he updated it , the file history says

 

"V30 (current) - 1,058 downloads , 4.74 MB - 12/19/2022 - 2 hours ago"

so you can update your game now with the new version if u want
