LOD_MULT resetting when aiming weapon

hey guys, im trying to edit the lod_mult in the timecyc files only i have run into an issue:

when i set the lod_mult above the default 1.0000 (1.30000 for example) it works perfectly in all but one way: the lod will reset to 1.0000 when aiming your weapon before going back to the edited amount when you stop aiming. this only happens with the precise aim (right mouse button) and not with the quickfire aim (left mouse button) could anyone help me out? i have spent alot of time trying to figure it out but im not getting anywhere, its weird that this happens only when aiming specifically with the prescise aim right?
