dlclist.xml resetting

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm trying to add a new line to the dlclist file for vehicle mods. I the file drag to desktop and add the line with notepadd++ then put it back into OpenIV

However when I reopen GTA it starts "Updating" and when the update is finished, all of my folder permissions are reset and the line I added to the XML is removed.

I've tried a few times and the dlclist became blank after another attempt.

Do you use a mods folder?

Yes, any files i edit are in the mods folder.

Gta doesn’t touch the mods folder when "updating" or with other words -verify

Can you post the file commandline.txt and ragepluginhook.log from the main gta folder? And also a screenshot of the path from that file in openiv?

First thing here, what version of GTA V are you on? How come GTA V started update upon launch?

Second, whenever GTA V is updated, OpenIV will ask you to update the mod folder as well, and you'll lose most of the moded files in there. I'm sure you know that.

And, are you sure you actually replaced the edited dlc file? The best way to do it is turn on edit mode, and right click it - select edit then save.
