Hello everybody!

 

First of all I would like to say I just recently discovered LSPDFR and I’m quite sad that I haven’t discovered it earlier, what a great plugin, was looking for a nice police game for years and this exceeded my expectations! Also the help on the forum here is great, so thank you dev team!

 

But my question is, when using ELS is there a way to change the siren use of ai/npc police? Whenever I ask for backup or just randomly see/hear a cop using their siren it is always the fast/panicky third or fourth siren, which is kinda annoying when in pursuit or waiting for backup. Is there a way to modify this or do I just have to deal with this when using ELS?

I don't know/think that you can fully turn off lights and sirens on AI cars. 

 

But you can try going to the ELS config file and edit this part:

 

ElsActiveOnAi = true

 

Change this to false. I think this may change it over to the vanilla game files for AI.

Yeah I’ve tried that, but then some lights just keep burning while idle and they won’t use siren at all. Or at least I thought it was like that, but will try it again tonight 

That could be the case, but it's the only option that I know of, someone else on the forum might have more ideas.
