Self Created Mod Crashes Game

Featured Replies

I'm sorta new to the modding realm. I created mods for games like TF2 in the past and they were successful. I'm trying to create an overwrite of the vanilla dispatch sounds in LSPDFR. When I got a callout to test the sounds while in game, it crashed to desktop. I know why it crashed, because of my mod. My problem is... why? Is it a bitrate issue? My sound is at 2822 bitrate. The highest bitrate of the vanilla sounds is 1411. What could be the problem? What am I missing?

Basically, I took the sounds I was using into FL studio, spliced them, and rendered them as WAV files. I did the same with a GrammarPolice modification where I changed the initial PTT tone and it worked right out the gate. But that was also a long time ago.

Yes that would be my guess, but you can fix it.
The program Audacity (free) can save wave-files in exactly the setting you need.
Inside you CLI you should also see a crash message, the issue is the last entry,or at least in the bottom. It should also be in your
../GTAV/RagePluginHook.log as last item
I have also recently started to write C# plugins, though new to C#, I have long time behind me as a AS3-coder.  if you like we can "compare notes" cooperate making new addons, just ping me.

See my plugin here:

Let me know if you find it interesting.
Best Regards.
