Possible to edit Flags 5 'speed unk 1/2'?

Featured Replies

Within the .ynd path node files, you can edit Flags 5 speed unk 1 and speed unk 2 - a combination of both of these selected will make AI vehicles sometimes reach the max speed of ~78mph. I wanted to see if anyone has been able to find the file that contains the values for Flags 5, as well as speed unk 1 and speed unk 2. My goal is to make AI vehicles go faster than 78 mph and I believe it could be done if I knew where to find those values. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

There is a fair chance that those values are configured in the game's code as opposed to a data file.

Understood, so I assume that is something that cannot be edited?

I think ambient AI speeders would be awesome, but sadly the AI will never go faster than 78 besides during pursuits/callouts.

It can be patched, but it is a little bit more effort as opposed to editing a file (depending on your knowledge, anyway). I, too, would like to see actual fast pursuits and think at some point I overrode most of the limits but it caused some other side-effects so I might not have patched the correct thing.
