Flares?

Say for instance you get a call to a traffic accident. As in real life officers (night patrol)set down flares to warn oncoming traffic of the collision. Could/would it be possible to add a flare mod of some sort to set down on the ground. This is for the officers that tend to take a little bit more time with calls like myself to actually get the realism. I know there is object spawner for barriers and all. Please forgive me if I stumbled over someone's topic before. It was just a thought of the moment. Thanx

This would be a awesome idea but there is a other problem if someone would make a script for this or something he has to change things in the AI too. So I don't think this is possible yet.

Yea I understand. But as the AI responds to parked vehicles to go around also to include siren lights, the script could be set to that particular notion just longer. But yea it would be a lot. Of course we all want to take the realism to the next level. Next to real would be actually living it..so this will be fine for the time being

I plan to add flares (provided by Sniper296) to PoliceHelper. They will work just like cones. Unfortunately I want release final versions of METT and K-9 scripts first. Also PoliceHelper is now totally messed up as I'm in process of rewriting huge parts of the mod and I can't add that just like that.

Just a quick question Abraxas, is there a way to make it so that car actually go around cones/flares/barriers in a newer script? instead of just driving into them -___- that would be awesome if its possible.

In current PoliceHelper AI should stop at barriers and try to go around or stop at cones. They shouldn't ram them, maybe sometimes, but only with wide vehicles.

I didn't find any way to make them properly go around cone or barrier. They don't see objects at all. My barriers make them stop by script and cones... that is the most f**ked up script I've ever written :D Those are not only cones but... invisible fat cops on mopeds :D

Oh.......so that would be why one time a moped spawned and started driving away with no one on it and i couldnt stop it by shooting ramming or anything....now i understand.........lol
