Headlights too bright

Featured Replies

Does anyone know where you can edit the enviromental radiance of the headlights specifically?

Everything else like the police lights, bus/taxi lights etc are perfect, The only thing that seems to be extreem brightness are the headlights. Does anyone know where in els or visual settings you can tweek the headlights without affecting everything else

I'm now 90% certain this is ELS related, With ELS not installed the headlights are normal, With, They're too OP.

Anyone an absolute legend and know what els.ini line the headlights are?

You can try editing your visualsettings.dat file in your update.rpf/common/data, code snippet below.
As far as ELS controlling the emissive brightness or corona flare of the original headlight values that's not a thing, so unless your talking about the flashing of the coronas that ELS creates.

car.headlight.day.emissive.on 180.00
car.headlight.night.emissive.on 105.00
car.headlight.day.emissive.off 0.000
car.headlight.night.emissive.off	0.000

This alongside turning down the intensity in the visualsettings worked, Thanks man I appreciate it
