Hey there. So when i launch the game i get a message saying that i am missing Microsoft Visual C++Redistributable 2010. i went to the site and downloaded the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 service pack. inside it had 3 files.

vcredist_ia64.exe

vcredist_x64.exe

vcredist_x86.exe

 

I have installed all but the

vcredist_ia64.exe

The message i get is this.

Setup has detected that this computer does not meet the requirements to install this software. The following blocking issues must be resolved before you can install Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 IA64 Redistributable Setup software package.

Please resolve the following:

This setup program requires an IA64 platform. It cannot be installed on this platform.

 

Has anyone else had this problem? Please help if possible. I would greatly appreciate it.

I remember getting that error before but it wasn't a Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2010 service pack problem.  I already had it installed.  It came with the OS on my computer.  It was something that was triggering that error.  Had to do with RAGE I think.  It was a few years ago and I can remember what I did or what the solution was.  Sorry but I did have that problem briefly before.  Might do a Google search for GTAV, LC/SPDFR, then that error and see if there is a solution on other sites.  I've found solutions with this game on other sites by doing an internet search.  Maybe it's a GTAV problem and not a LSPDFR/RAGE problem.
