So I did a new install of GTA V and LSPDFR and I cannot get into the game still. It shows a crash message. The main issue I've noticed is when I have "Disable DirectX Hook" ticked, I can load into the game with LSPDFR but not the whole mod itself. It won't let me press "E" to go on duty at all and I can't use the RageHook commands to force duty. When I do leave it unticked, I get the crash message below. I have tried scouring the forums and google for assistance but I can't see to find a solution and I've been on this issue for almost 2 1/2 hours to no avail.

can you rename your mods folder to _mods then try for me? 

maybe thats what im doing wrong, i dont have a mods folder in my gta v directory. where should there be one?

If you don't have one, don't bother about it.

 

You likely have some trash DirectX hook intefering with RAGEPluginHook. If you have NVIDIA GeForce Experience, try disabling the overlay.
