Move dinput8.dll from your main directory to your desktop; does the issue still persist?

says i have corrupt game data, but a fresh install with no mods works so my one of my mods probably crashes it. do you know of any mods that crash lspdfr thanks!

One step at a time. You get that error with dinput8 removed?

yes but i think thats because i accidently installed gun models into my actual patchday8 instead of my mods folder one a while ago. i found out that my map mods were causing the crash and i can play normally now. thank you
