EUP Install Causing Crash - Yet another crash question

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Started modding GTA V again after a while. Installed LSPDFR and had a lot of troubles with EUP at first, but finally got it working once yesterday (turns out the RageNativeUI included with EUP Menu is currently outdated by close to a month). Then, after I got it working, I *carefully* installed a few other plugins, then got to one that crashed the game (don't remember what it was at the moment). I removed it, then had a problem where I would launch the game, and when loaded, got a message from EUP Menu that I didn't have EUP L&O installed. I got this message no matter how many times I checked and reinstalled the package on OIV, re-checked that I had Menu installed correctly, and relaunched the game (Side note: never installed S&R as I didn't really feel the need for it just yet). My character's hair was turning various colors and I had no way to fix it, so fresh install time. After deleting all modded files and verifying files on Steam, here were my steps:

- Install LSPDFR 0.4.9 via installer program with recommended settings in the correct path

- Launch game

- Set up RPH for the "first time," with setting timeout to 60000 and checking LSPDFR to start on launch, then save and launch

- Load into singleplayer and go to a police station icon, do the usual setup to check that the plugin works

- Use OIV to install ASI loader and OpenIV.asi

- Install the Max Payne 3 Glock package via OIV (because it's cool and it's always worked properly) in mods folder

- Check that the game/RPH works still (it all does)

- Use OIV to install EUP 8.3 package in mods folder

- Put EUPMenu.dll plugins folder into main GTA V directory, check that it went to the correct plugins folder with LSPDFR.dll

- Drag NEWEST RageNativeUI (1.8.2 as of right now) from GitHub into main GTA V directory

- Launch game again with EUP Menu + L&O

- Game crashes while loading 🙃

- Delete EUPMenu.dll, "eup" folder in mods/update/x64/dlcpacks, and remove the line "<Item>dlcpacks:/EUP/</Item>" from mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/dlclist.xml, save and try again

- Game still crashes while loading

- Delete ALL mods, verify local files, and start again at step 1

Other things to note:

- I don't know how to upload the actual crash logs, so I just included the RPH log (and my main directory folder). Apparently .rcr files aren't supported. I can do that if needed as I still have a couple saved

- This still happens after trying...

1. Starting RPH as admin

2. Allowing EUP Menu and RageNativeUI past Windows Firewall

3. Starting RPH and the game without any plugins loaded by default (I was going to load them via the RPH console, but it's still crashing on the GTA loading screen), but the only plugins I had in the first place are LSPDFR and EUP Menu

I've tried this cycle FOUR (4) times, including this one today to share the crash log in hopes someone sees what's wrong. I know that it's probably just a monotonous little crash to most people scrolling by, but it's killing me that I can't have cool clothes in a video game, especially since this plugin worked fine yesterday between multiple launches for a while. Any ideas? Thanks
