GTA V Won't Start - Mod Files Located In GTAV Directory

Re: Mod files found in directory

GTA V via Rockstar Games Launcher

Just a quick one to ask whether anybody else has had any issues starting the game, where the game doesn't load and an error message to the effect of "mod files have been located in the GTA V directory" (sic)?

If so, does anybody have a fix, or a workaround?

I've uninstalled and reinstalled - and do not use any other mods.

I'm not so sure, LSPDFR is the only mod I've ever installed - the warning dialogue from Rockstar states that unauthorised mods will affect ability to access online.

From there on the game will not start at all, unless the mod has been removed from the directory. It was working absolutely fine a couple of hours ago - I'd only shut the PC down to grab some dinner, and came back to these errors. Not sure whether Rockstar had released a patch has been released or not?

You may configured your game to go straightly to GTA Online.

Configure the game to go straightly to Story Mode if so.

Supporting is somewhat like locating an issue, then trying to apply a protocol that would eventually guide the subject to fix their game, and sometimes, on rare occasions, trying to diagnose a weird issue with everything you know.
