Permission Error?

Featured Replies

I've been playing GTA V for 5 years now and been using LSPFR for two years and I know Rockstar is being an asshole with all these updates so I keep updating files whenever they comes out. Until today, this error message came up. I'm still pissing off that Rockstar is messing everything. FYI, I dont have anti-virus program.

Any idea to fix it?

Did that many times, doesnt work.

I removed LSPDFR so GTA works just fine. I'm just sick of Rockstar updating too often, cause crash.

I give up

I think I got that after an update a few months ago.  That message could be related to a few things.  If things were working before the update then it's not an antivirus problem.  Some people have live scanning from their antivirus and that is sometimes a problem.  I see you said you don't have that but I'm just throwing it out there for others.  Might OpenIV and see if there is a message about an outdated mods folder where you would need to update the update.rpf.  A few months ago after trying everything I just reinstalled RAGE and then it worked.
