Is there a way to start backup to the scene and not my location?

Featured Replies

I responded to a shots fired call in the game earlier. I was the only unit there until I called for backup. I'm curious if there's a way to dispatch backup to the scene while en route instead of having to wait until I'm on scene.

With Ultimate Backup units will respond to your waypoint, not sure about vanilla lspdfr though

Is that by default or do I have to enable that in UB's settings?

I haven't tried it but I read, after you accept the call, if you open your map (esc) and click the location to create a waypoint, then call for backup (Ultimate Backup) then backup should respond to your waypoint (call location).  I guess it depends on how far away you are to the call.  I always forget to try it but that's what I read on here in the forums one time.
