Infinite Loading Screen on startup after update.

Featured Replies

Hi, so here's what's going on with me.

I reverted back to the latest update of GTA V (Los Santos Tuners), then I downloaded and installed the latest LSPDFR build, then after waiting for a while, I downloaded the latest update of ScriptHook V after it was released today. However, when I try to start up the game through RPH of course, I now have an infinite loading screen, as in it won't get out of the startup loading screen. It will say it loaded my plugins in, but after that, it won't get out of the loading screen, but I can still access Steam Overlay as well as the RPH command console, but it will not start the game, leaving me on the loading screen and listening to the theme song on constant loop. I don't know if anyone else has this problem after they updated everything, and again, the latest update of ScriptHook V came out today, but I don't know what else to do, I don't know if it has anything to do with my trainer (I use Menyoo), or anything else. Usually, my go-to solution when it comes to something like this is to reinstall GTA V, but I want to do that as a last resort this time, so if anyone has any suggestions on how to fix the infinite loading screen on startup before I resort to reinstalling the game, that would be appreciated. Thanks.

Edit: Just found out I had to update my 'update.rpf' folder on OpenIV, because as you know after every major update, you have to update that folderso maybe that was causing the infinite loading, but I will update this afterwards if it still doesn't fix it, after reinstalling every graphics, sound, texture, and combat alteration mods that I had that messed with 'update.rpf', as well as all my backups, such as 'dlclist' and my vehicles.meta file. (Because, dang it Rockstar).

Edit: Okay, now it's crashing on startup. I have a modified gameconfig.xml, but I don't know what's causing it. Here's the log:

RPHCrashReport.txt

Edit: Okay, I did try to rectify it by adding the 'mptuners' dlc file to my modified 'dlclist.xml' file because, you know, backup, but it still consistently crashed on startup, and then I found out that I also had to do the same thing with my vehicles.meta file, so I put in the latest version of that file back in, because I implemented the backup file, then right now I'm doing all the modifications to it again, which is required for some of the vehicle packs I got. This will be my last edit though, because if this fix doesn't work, then I will have to reinstall the game. So, if I don't update this post again, then it means I either fixed my issue or I resorted to reinstalling my game.

If you have a mods folder rename it to _mods
