Looks like you did not install dog model. It's not included in my zip because of copyright issues. You will find links to it in read me file. Remember to replace m_y_cowboy_01 ped files with donloaded ones no matter what are their names.

Can you send me your vdh_Errors.log. I'd like to rid of most bugs for next, final version.

Ok,so Im not exactly sure Im getting the instructions,I have changed the names of the dog files I downloaded and installed them as the m_y_cowboy01 files (not sure if thats what your suposed to do), and it didn't work and ive tried installing the dog a bunch of different ways,different times. Could you please explain what I need to do? Thanks again.

If youuse OpenIV you don't need to rename files. Just right click on m_y_cowboy_01 wft and wdd file in openIV and replace them with wft and wdd files provided in pack you've downloaded. Double click m_y_cowboy_01.wft to see if dog is installed. I hope it will help. Sorry for confusing install instruction but I couldn't get dog creators permission to include it in my mod.

Does anyone know the mapping for the dog on BXbugs 06 Chevy Impala that i have put in the FBI slot! 

Because when i am in multi player the other person can see the dogs ears and head out of the roof of the car.

I tried and cant seem to get it right :/

 

We have the same cars.

Damn. That's not good. Ask your friend to set his coordinates in his ini file just like yours. It's really weird issue and I can't figure out why is that happening.

we have not changed them i tired to do it and didnt work to well so we put the org one thats in the ini before we changed them back in there, BUT when we go into the polpatriot, which is a suburban its fine no head or ears coming out

should i try bringing the dog down in ini file and if the whole head is out what do you think i should set it to.

The real problem is not if dog is sticking out or not but the fact that other players see dog attached to car in different positions. As I said try to set coordiates for specific car exacly tge same for every player and chef if it will help.

Is there a coordinates thread for the K-9 mod yet? If so, where?

I have not seen any. I plan to add in-game coords editor in final release. Just to learn how to edit text files by script ;)

One last thing, I can't even get the dog to start... I havent changed anything in the .ini other than the car coordinates... Any help?

You can't spawn it? Do you get any error messages?

No, I crash out when I press the combination... to start, your ini confused me, I thought the - there meant to press - not . but now when I press it with ., I go to my options (like CTRL + ALT + DEL) Do you understand :P

Not entirely. You go to what options? Did you try to change key. Also crash at that moment may indicate that you didn't install dog model or sounds correctly.

Well...I don't actually crash, it's due to the menu I think, this is the menu.

You set your key to Del? That's not very wise. Just change it to some other key. If you didn'tset it to Del do the same.

...no I did not set it to del... If I set it to the default, it does the same thing...

Did you try to set it to something else? Also do you use left ctrl and left alt?
