Hey hey,

 

Every time I launch RagePluginHook it opens GTA then after 5 minutes or so it'll crash from a black screen. I have attempted to:

• Manually install LSPDR/RPH (instead of the .exe)
• Re-download GTA
• Run as Administrator
• Re-install .NET 4.7.2

with zero progress, the crash reason is as follows:

Hey there bud!
Could you attach your RPH log? (RagePluginHook.log in GTAV directory)

Not sure how helpful this'll be, as it doesn't seem like much to the untrained eye

Also might you need the "Crash Report" RCR file as well?

Do you have any mods that modify the textures installed? Crash appears to happen while textures r being loaded.
Furthermore, ensure that your antivirus is not blocking RPH and that your RPH isn't blocking any DLLs. Honestly, i've never seen a RPH log as barren as yours so it's surprising to me.

I shouldn't have any of the sort, I quite literally only have LSPDFR and RPH installed and thats it. RPH did alert me that DLL files were being blocked and I ticked the option letting RPH "Unblock them" itself, I'll also try add a file exception to my antivirus (its only windows defender mind you)

Go to your rage settings and set the PluginTimeoutThreshold to 60000

Hmm.. 
I recommend you launch gta 5 without RAGE to just make sure your actual gta 5 works and all the required files are made. After you're in-game and everything is fine, just leave and try to relaunch it with RAGE.

Sorry for the delay, normal GTA 5 plays completely fine (just tried it) but as soon as I try Rage it implodes on itself.

Try a custom gameconfig. Sometimes helps.

To fix this error, you need to launch GTA V first and then once in-game, RPH. This is a bug with what I said prior being the only fix. Which means you will have to do that everytime.

I'll have to give that a try later on (not at PC), In the meanwhile I was installing GTA via steam instead of Rockstar Launcher, not sure if that'll help or not.

Yeah I did that after Activated mentioned it and it didn't resolve it

I mean...it will...because you are starting the game fresh. But, in the grand scheme, it a little pointless since your issue is solvable.

Eh. Custom gameconfigs are always worth a shot due to plugin memory.

Honestly a custom gameconfig fixed issues w/ loading plugins for me a while ago that I think were caused by something similar. I go by personal experience when helping (or trying to help) people and sometimes it works so it's worth a shot, but I have a long way to go.
