ELS not working on custom cars.

Featured Replies

Hey! So I'm really new to LSPDFR and especially new to modding, and I decided to install some mods for new vehicles in LSPDFR. In each one of the vehicles I've installed (about 7), the only emergency lights that have worked are the blinking tail lights. I've seen a solution for this that involves un-installing "asi manager" and "asi loader." I've installed ELS (not sure if I've done it correctly, though), but I am not sure if I have either of these files or, if I do, where/how to find them. Would very much appreciate any help.

Do you hear the light switches when you activate the lights? Do you hear the siren on your car? Could you also maybe attach a screenshot of a police car with emergency lights on, just to get a clear picture.

One solution I know and as you stated above is to go into OpenIV > tools > ASI Manager and uninstall ASI loader as well as OpenIV.ASI. Following that, reinstall both of those back, close everything, and restart your PC. This usually solves issues with ELS.

Tried following the directions for the OpenIV.ASI and loader, but it had no effect. I do hear the sirens when I turn on the lights. Here's a picture of a car with lights on:

Hey! Are you still having problems with the cars? If so make sure you put your els files in your pack_default folder if you haven't. If you need more help you can add me on discord. Alеx#5398

Where is your pack_default folder?

That contains your ELS XML files.

Here are the contents of the pack_default folder:

Go into the ELS ini file and in the Admin section make sure it looks like this:

VcfContainerFolder = pack_default
