So after a wonderful day of gaming i think i finally fucked it all up haha 😄 I tried installing some danish police cars with success and els all working --then i tried with uniforms and one other car and i think i fucked the whole car data , changed important things without knowing -now its crashing and just says "invalid model" or something when i try to spawn the police cars and also all the other regular pedestrian cars - expect ofc the add on cars, only they work. The cars that drive around are weirdly colored and things look weird in general.  Here's the crash log. Maybe i should just go for the complete reinstallation? cause it also affects the game when i run without hook

added all this to the game in open iv, and also some other files like componentpeds.rpf and such - obviously i am in way over my head here haha - went rogue in open iv and fucked it all up i think. Lesson learned. any way here's some of the stuff i added. What do u suggest? :D

Try deleting all the meta files you installed and retry for me.

Edit: i can play the game and spawn all normal cars and police cars when taking out the mods folder in the main tga v directory, so no need to reinstall the whole game thank god!!!!  

 

The problem is that i dont have an overview over where i put them and which to delete i will try and search the files in openiv for location, but if i delete wont there just not be any cars ingame? i mean i replaced the original with the not working one's.. 😞 and i dont have the old meta files

If you just find out the paths and delete those meta files your mods folder might be recoverable.

If not then you most likely will have to make a new one 😕 

it shows 164 vehicles.meta files, i wont ever find which one is the one to delete 😄

Can't you just go to the install where they are from?

It should tell you the install location.

Thats where my "went on rogue in IV" comes in - i went on and added it various places cause i wasnt sure. Yes horrible decision today haha. Really regret this. But can I ask. What if I delete the mods folder - should i maybe also just delete the lspdfr folder? I want a clean start haha! So basically, which folders should i delete? and i suppose i can keep the scripthook and trainers etc without no issue?

Starting clean would be the thing to do.
As the issue is with your mods folder you only really need to delete that 🙂

Installed the eup 8.2 law and order and eup menu and stuff - now this error comes up 😞 

got that fixed also after some time, now the game is fine but crashes with this log after 10-15 min or something - since its also a new lspdfr install maybe something is off - hope you can spot it! 🙂 thanks in advance again!

seems to have got it working - one last little question from the ultimate rookoie here haha! I have succesfully added police car replacements now so they're danish from my country ingame - since i have the 200 car replace mod installed i had to find the vehicles folder in a different place than normally. BUT i have a problem with police3 file - when i add it it doesnt show the replaced car ingame - just the old one? Should i search in the openiv toolbar and replace all the police3 files there is with the new one to make sure its working ingame?

Could you confirm the installation path for me?
