Just did another 1 hour test, multiple callouts, multiple arrests and citations went through fine. Only issues are standard things like some blips not vanishing (not a big deal) and common issues that aren't a big deal and are unavoidable.

Also did an AFK test where I just let ambient events take place for over an hour teleporting to all the hotspots in town, no crashes.

Gotta say hats off, because we have the same graphics card and memory just different processer, but i kept wondering if it was my graphics or memory that was making lspdfr crash now i know its not either, its the certain plug-ins so thanx again

My VRAM is 8 GB from the 2070 Super. And I had 16GB DDR4 Ram 😞

😞 Trust me man I know you're pain. Only a year ago I was still running a 970GTX with a i7 3770k.

Main thing's I've noticed that have always crashed my game regardless of GPU and CPU power is ambient events, I strongly suggest against them unless you really enjoy pushing the limits of the game. As much as they add so much realism and immersion to the game, it's not worth sometimes just randomly having the game crash when you could be in one of the greatest pursuits ever. That being said I am going to test ambient event mods as much as possible with this build and try to find ones that work!

I finally got my LSPDFR to crash. It was during a "Stolen Bus" pursuit callout right after I called in for a spike strip. The spike strip failed because I think it was inside of a tunnel. The unit the officer was using for the spike strip did a flip randomly and I couldn't even see the police officer. 50m down the road LSPDFR crashed for no apparent reason.

Seems like just a bit of an LSPDFR bug but if anyone else has any idea what happened here I'd like to know. Was wondering when I would eventually get one of these! I could have sworn I was lucky not to get one much earlier in testing.

2x I've crashed now on UnitedCallouts "StolenBus" callout.

Going to disable that specific callout (the rest are still enabled) and see if the problem happens again with anything else.

Removed United Callouts for now as I encountered another crash after doing "TrafficStop". Also after reading the comments on the mods thread it seems there's a few other issues aswell.

For your ELS lights I would try Better Radiance and then select Brighter Day Lights, it made a difference with all my vehicles and never had to bother with any other Visual files as they all seemed to crash my game or were outdated once everything updated in December

Not sure what you're talking about?

 

My ELS lighting is as bright as can be and every visual mod works perfectly fine with GTAV including ones I've taken out of this list i.e. VisualV & RadianceV.

 

If visual mods don't work for you then you're installing them incorrectly.

Added many more callouts packs. I'm just playing the game now though (and having a lot of fun), hardly anything to test any more.

Sorted out OBS recording and going to get Vegas studio and start pumping out some videos soon probably.

Next testing phase is ambient events to make patrols a lot more interesting.

 

Also going to look into creating a very fast paced "Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit" build made around pursuits in progress and speed trapping that results car chases. I know a lot of people enjoy that stuff more than roleplay type gameplay as I do also. (I'm a GTAO world record holder on a few races so that is my thing).

 

This build is almost done though unless people can suggest more stuff or I find reasonable additions.

Would you be able to give me a hand with the Road maps mod? I have tried both methods of installing it (200mb file, and original DIY file). No matter what i do i cannot get it to work. I am using GTA REAL by Luke Ross to play this in VR so that could be the issue but unsure of how to check if that is the case.

 

BTW great list, i am using mvga visual v and most of these mods.  i get lowest fps of around 55 in the city after EMS Coroner and backup has arrived. I have to switch to 2d during the daytime sometimes to deal with artifacts from low frame rate and the alternate eye rendering used In VR but for the most part can play in 3D with minor eyestrain.

As a side note I must recommend Manual Transmission ESPECIALLY if you are playing in VR/steering wheel,  I would also definitely suggest using vehicle handling mods that factor in weight a bit more if you are taking this route. Example (https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/true-realistic-driving-v-realistic-mass-v0-1-beta).  Also if you cannot afford a clutch pedal and have an extra joystick laying around you can slap some sort of flat piece onto the stick set a deadzone and use it as a pedal.
