Hi all,

 

I'm here to report a possible bug - I have currently had 6 or so people who have this issue and some have managed to solve it by going to a different save of GTAV - others cannot solve it at all.
 

Attached are some logs showing the issue - it either occurs when an activity is taking place (cuffing a suspect etc.) or when receiving a callout and occasionaly, randomly.

 

Troubleshooting steps:

1. Completly fresh GTAV directory (reinstalled) - no other scripts/mods folder etc. No mods/scripts + verified files.
2. Reinstalled LSPDFR + RAGE (manually)
3. Checked that the game runs smoothly without LSPDFR

All help is appreciated and hopefully this isn't me being stupid.

Update:

 

Arresting using Stop The Ped works.

However by using default LSPDFR functions such as takedown - it still crashes.

Bump.

Update: One user solved it by reinstalling GTAV - not the most convinent of fixes but it worked.

Unfortunately the logs don't say anything at all, so it's not possible to proceed with these.

If you can attach an Event Viewer log of the GTA5.exe crash (with the same circumstances, completely unmodified game except RPH and LSPDFR base modification only) this might help with debugging. I'll also try and see if I can replicate the issue locally.

Edit: Not sure if I will come across someone with this issue again but will be keeping my eyes out.

This is from someone who has a clean directory apart from a reshade. Other than that nothing.

If this wasn't the thing you were looking for let me know so I can get the appropriate file 🙂 

FYI: It is partly in Hungarian.

I'm seeing SlimDX stuff inside that dump. This usually indicates a low-memory situation or something interfering with DirectX.

That isn't as bad as the SlimDX error I suppose....
I'll see if I can get any hardware infomation to you 🙂

Due to reasons I won't go into I'm no longer in contact with the person facing this issue.

So sadly I don't have an hardware info to provide.
