I've recently gotten back into LSPDFR, and I've spent 6 hours working out a crashing issue that I've narrowed down to 2 issues that are related, so I'm going to bundle them together. I am unable to slot in any addons pack, specifically trying to use the Indiana State Police pack, however it's not the only one having issues. I am doing it the exact same way as the last time I tried. I have a gameconfig, heap adjuster, etc. Even using these on their own is causing a crash.

 

For my second, if I try and slot any vehicles specifically into fbi and fbi2, I crash at about the same time on startup after selecting story mode.

Make sure you have the following links installed after you installed car packs and add-on cars:

I know you said you have them installed, but the gameconfig is important to be installed after the DLCPack.

 

Did you change / edit the vehicles.meta for fbi2 at some point?

Haven't messed with any of the .meta files. Even without any of the DLC's added in and only the gameconfig, I'm getting the same crash and vise versa. I spent most of the time troubleshooting at 1-6am, so I'm not sure if I installed it in that order but let me try and if it crashes, I will upload a log

Second of all, I can tell you why that is.

Some car packs come with a gameconfig. Over time, surely, that gets outdated.

So make sure to install the gamconfig after a dlcpack.

Gotcha. Never seen it happen before, so it confused me to high hell when you said that but it makes lots of sense.
