GTA crashes on startup after installing addon cars

Featured Replies

Hello! I have been trying to add more police vehicles to my GTA game for a while now and no matter what I do, it always seems to crash my game on start up. I have tried using the DLC packs that are already there, Ive tried some that add DLC packs, I have followed multiple tutorials and videos and no matter what I do my game crashes on start up. Does anyone know how to fix this? (Replacing vehicles works fine)

I am having this exact same issue too, I went back and tried installing things one by one and it isnt even limited to car addon packs either I tried Installing natural vison and that crashes it too my only thought on this matter is Rockstar is doing everything in it power to stop modding even though they said way back when during the Take Two shit show they said the loved the modding community now that seems to have faded.

I guess my only form of advice to you would be try putting in one cark pack or addon pack and see if it crashes still if it does then we know its not you its the game itself not accepting mods!

You're not alone, I'm having the same issue!

Whether its NVE, or ELS or vehicles... I find that reinstalling my GPU drivers helped all the way until the vehicles and ELS install, so now I have to go back and do one by one. I finally got my add-ons to work, but its just not the same in a standard Buffalo.... 🥴
