Abysmal performance

Game runs like an asthmatic hippo since the update... we’re talking drops to low 20s in given areas— could take a mere four steps forward without manipulating camera and see my FPS plummet. High-end system (1080, i7 9970k and 16GB RAM), running high* (FXAA+MSAA X2, advanced options disabled) at 720p! Base LSPDFR; no plugins nor scripts.

@RichIndeed, LSPDFR’s just rubbing salt into the wound. I’ve had these drops since 0.3 but this update has crossed the line... Do you happen to experience drops of any description, my good man?

For reference, I don't experience any perceivable slowdown on my current system (Ryzen 3 3700X, 1080 Ti, NVMe SSD) and neither on my old gaming system (i5 3570k, GTX 670, running GTA V from a HDD).

I don't typically use or test LSPDFR with any third-party plugins though.
