I am trying different sirens but my wail wont change, its stuck as the same one, if i could get some help that would be nice, my horn,yelp,and the other one works fine just wail

 

Are you using ELS, DLS or the default controls?

So your issue is with the wail tone not working right?
Could you please send the VCF (police.xml for example) you are using?

Are you using custom sirens?

yes im using custom sirens, but the wail is the same for all my cars

like if i were to change my siren to a different custom one, the wail one would not change the others would

 

What do you mean by the same? Do you mean as in every vehicle with a VCF is using the same tone or it isn't changing from the vanilla tone?

like i changed the wail the other day, it worked, now its not wat i thought, so i tried to change it, but thw wail stays the same

That is odd, try this:
Remove vehicles.awc from your mods folder completely

Install the vehicles.oac from a new pack

If the pack doesn't come with an oac or awc use the vanilla file and install it using these names
Wail: SIREN_PA20A_WAIL
Yelp: SIREN_2
Priority 1: POLICE_WARNING
Priority 2: AMBULANCE_WARNING
make sure all files are copied or moved

Make sure the vehicles.awc in your base files is still vanilla

i heard something abt the file cant be over 16mb

i also have a problem with the fire dept. I would call them in but they would never respond

The size limit would just mute the siren so that's probably not it but it could be
For the fire department, are you using Ultimate Backup or the default backup system?

Also check if its your UB configurations

sorta, i did the oac thing, but the siren just bad, it gave me a wierd one, still cant switch wail unless i do that, do u have any siren packs with oac'
