Out of curiosity, whenever I select the "EMS" function on my police smart radio, it sends the ambulance and instead of a firetruck coming, it sends the FBI vehicle with firefighters. Any reason why? I've gone through my ini files and couldn't find anything. 

Delete SmartRadio and any other one of Albo's mods. Replace them with these:https://www.bejoijo.com/

Does STP allow me to call EMS still?

 

StopThePed does not allow this. However, Ultimate Backup does and is a great plugin 🙂 

I use Better EMS.  That works for me.  I like it better than Ultimate Backup's EMS request.

I have it installed, I haven't used it to request EMS yet

Better EMS is a great plugin. I have no objections against it. 

The only problem I have with it is that the EMS is super slow. I remember I had to wait a solid 10 minutes for EMS to arrive once 🤣

Haha, yeah that is a downside about it.  I was on a highway probably right in the middle of 2 medical centers, far far away and it took EMS several minutes to find out how to get there.  But I still like how Fire/EMS gets dispatched from the nearest Station or Hospital as opposed to spawned a certain distance.

Indeed. It is a feature that's supposed to be more realistic for gameplay.

I had a highway situation as well. I did a PIT on a high value vehicle then the AI kept screwing up interfering in the arrest.

Once we shot the suspect to hell subdued the suspect, EMS was called. It took forever for it to figure out the correct route and weave against traffic. The person was long gone by the time EMS actually got him to the hospital.
