I installed this just now and my police lights are super DIM so i installed brighterlights again and didn't work so replaced every visualsettings.dat that OPENIV could find and lights are still DIM so i'm super confused.

Have tried disabling ASI manager and all that and restarting PC and replacing every visualsettings.dat file with a brighter file and doesn't change anything.

Check that the following settings are high or above:

  • PostFX
  • Shader Quality
  • Shadow Quality

If this doesn't change anything go to the visualv.oiv file and rename it to visualv.zip

This will allow you to see all the files that have been changed. You can then replace these files with the vanilla files of the game : D (trusting you did this in your mods folder)
