Need help with texture loss

Featured Replies

Hi, guys. i have been spend a lot of time on playing lspdfr 0.48 recently, and i keep encounter the heavy texture loss after 10-20 minutes of game play. My computer is a alienware laptop. And it got gtx 2060 and i7 9750 with 16G ram in it. it often happened after i call the backup with the ultimate backup which i uses some addon cars as backup unit. i tried to fix it with turning off the Main.PreloadAllModels in lspdfr and change the setting of gta 5 to direx10. But the issue still there. Can anyone have any idea about how to fix this problem? 20201022011124_1.thumb.jpg.b25e5feb9e53674f58fc1b4df3f325c4.jpg20201022011129_1.thumb.jpg.2d6912b4246f31ef8b99a3c5bb1c07fe.jpg

Setting Main.PreloadAllModels to False should fix the problem.

Is there anything that is massively eaating up memory in your game? Such as ELS light flashing on unused cars.

Try turning the ambient events off as well.

Hope this helps!:)

i already turn off the main.preloadAllModels, it fixed the problem for couple days but then the problem kick back in. i use ELS for my police car and addon police car. i got 31 different ELS files for the police car, will it be the reason of the problem?

Hello,

Try some of the following solutions:

- Go into lspdfr.ini at GTA V\lspdfr and set Main.PreloadAllModels = false.
- Try setting GTA V as a higher priority in your Task Manager Details. Open TM, go to Details, Right click GTA V > Set Priority > High.
- You may have too many high-poly vehicles. Remove them, or downscale textures. More info: https://bit.ly/30WNrMZ

Thanks! 🙂
