Hi, I've been trying to figure out how to get Stop The Ped to work without crashing... every time I get to the locker room to go on duty it crashes.... What's worse is that half the time the game crashes on start up right after loading in. I don't get it, I've followed the installation instructions down to the letter but it keeps crashing. Also when it crashes, there's this beep sound when it crashes.

 

Any insight into fixing this and making it work would be greatly be appreciated. Thanks

 

Edit: I should also mention when I do delete the plugin (LSPDFR folder), the game keeps crashing straight after loading. Usually I have to re-install LSPFR altogether to get it working again 😞... From scratch, deleting GTA 5 and getting my back up and modding from there.

Hello,

 

First, go into the CommandLine.txt in the Main Directory and remove everything and then add -windowed and save and close it.

Second, do this:
 

How to access your Rage Settings Menu:

=> To access your RagePluginHook settings, hold Shift straight after launching RagePluginHook. 
=> Alternatively, press the little silver cog icon when you see the RagePluginHook splash screen after launching.
 

Changing Your Plugin Timeout Threshold:

=> In the first tab of the RPH Settings, find the bar titled "Plugin Timeout Threshold" and change it to 60,000.

Does it crash when you launch the game normally without RPH?

Just tested it. GTA 5 runs fine without RPH. I have a suspicion that the crash is either caused by the ragenativeui.dll mod thingy or the plugin itself... But the weird thing is even when deleting both of them afterwards it keeps crashing

Hmmm....okay....I want you to do this:

Then go to the Plugins tab and load nothing on startup and then try launching RPH again.

Then that appears to mean the issue is with LSPDFR. How did you install it? Manual or automatic?

Use Manual. Automatic can cause issues sometimes. All you have to do is download it and then drag and drop everything EXCEPT the Licenses folder into the Main Directory. Then try again.

Ok, it does seem to function differently, that beep at the start coincides with a msg on the bottom left telling me about new console commands (Which didn't happen before). However, when I go on duty, the game first minimizes, then when I try to get it back up it stops responding.

Send a new RPH Crash Log.

Here: RagePluginHook_20102020_052405.log

Same as last time, the game stops responding after hitting go on duty.

Hmmm...everything seems fine....did you make sure to load LSPDFR once getting in-game?

Dont load it on startup and then load LSPDFR once in-game. Also, make remove everything except LSPDFR from Plugins and Plugins/LSPDFR.

So in other words, remove stop the ped and load up LSPDFR once in-game?
