are there any error messages, what system specifications are you running? Have you run a diagnostic? Make sure that only dsound.dll is in the folder, having both will cause conflicts.

ok i will look in to that post as for specs im on a quad processor nividia 9800 its a custom gaming pc i bought it runs fine in xlive but prefered to run in dsound thanks for the help & no error messages btw
