Question on Vehicle IDE File.

Featured Replies

SO an IDE line in the file looks like this:

admiral, admiral, car, ADMIRAL, ADMIRAL, VEH@STD, VEH@STD_LO4_LO4, 100, 999, 0.2229, 0.2229, 0, 2, 1.0 ,0, -

I want to know it I change the name of the car in the second column will it change anything?

Example:

admiral, police2, car, ADMIRAL, ADMIRAL, VEH@STD, VEH@STD_LO4_LO4, 100, 999, 0.2229, 0.2229, 0, 2, 1.0 ,0, -

Yeah, it will probably crash you. The first two need to be untouched. You can edit the last two admirals. The third one is the handling line, and the fourth is what car sound and name it will use.

I assume that the first 'admiral' indicates that the model to use is admiral.wft and the second 'admiral' indicates that the texture file to be used is admiral.wtd

So you should have no reason to change them really.
