I have purchased GTA V today so it's a clean install, I then used the lspdfr_048_setup.exe to install the mod.

Some parts do not appear to be working, or am I missing something?

 

I can not open the radio, pressing C just does nothing.

I was able to catch a vehicle thief and when I arrested him I was only able to call a transport but could not put him in my own cruiser.

Am I missing something or has something gone wrong during installtion?

 

I also noticed in videos that people were able to search vehicles and ask questions such as 'did you consume any alcohol?' and 'where are you going etc?'

It appears that I was not able to search a vehicle or ask anyone these questions. I could only ask an ID if I remember correct.

I feel a bit stupid, appearantly I needed plugins.

However, I´m getting an error for Stop The Ped. It´s telling that it is not compatible with 4.08. How can I solve this? I downloaded the latest version of stop the ped.

Stop the ped is not compatible with 0.4.8 (yet) so keep an eye out on the authors site and there should be an update available when he can. 

Is there an alternative plugin to that?

There is the default one.

Then there is Albo's mods.(Not recommended. They can crash your game)

Then there is the option of waiting for Bejo to Update his mods

I don't think I really need Stop the ped if I can find something like these:

- Coroner

- Tow truck

 

I already had a few situations where I couldn't do anything with a vehicle with an expired registration or even where I had to leave a death body on the streets.

On the police radio I tried those options, towtruck, coroner etc but they all require Stop The Ped to work with. Are there alternatives to this maybe?

if you want to use Stop the aped you will have to install LSPDFR version 0.47 (Build 7259) only until STP is updated. If you go to LSPDFR download page it should give you an option to download the 0.47 build 7259 version if the version is older than that I would just stick to the new version buts that entirely up to you. With STP you can call out tow trucks, coroner’s etc. If you pull suspects over who have drugs on them u can test what drugs they r by going to your trunk and pressing G and going down the option menu to narcotics test kit. Scroll left to examine weapons you find on a suspect as well. It’s a fun mod to play with.

Just to be on safe side I would delete the current version from main folder and then copy and paste the 0.47 version.  Just keep checking on Bejol mod page for the update and also check out some of his other mods. If you need help installing them check out YouTube videos there are plenty out there to get your LSPDFR up and running. 👍

Reason I mention this is because he seems to keep his mods up to date. Ultimate backup is a good mod to go with STP 👍
