Can anyone please tell me how to get stop the ped putting my game automatically into first person

Just press V to exit out.

And also, it shouldn't do that. Have you assigned any keybinds to the STP keys? What component of STP did you use that made you go into first person?

I didn't do anything and my v key doesn't do anything either. I just installed stop the ped, ultimate backup and compulite and then I couldn't get out of 1st person.

actually it turns out that it isn't the pluggins as I uninstalled them all and it's still happening

So when does it switch to first person?

I literally load into the game in first person and it stays in first person the whole time. I've uninstalled all the mods, I've also reinstalled LSPDFR and I've also changed the binding o0f my keys but none of them work. Also as soon as I get into a vehicle it goes into third person and my mini map appears but as soon as I get out of the vehicle, my mini map disappears and I go into first person.

Thats really weird. Are you sure you dont have other mods conflicting?

Just a random thought but do you have an gears.asi or dismemberment.asi installed in the game root? 

 

I use Manual Transmission which is a mod for using a gaming wheel and this keeps me 1st person while driving. 

 

Highly unlikely but just wanted to check if you were using that mod as that is the only time i have seen this.

Indeed. Have you tampered with any keybinds or anything related to the viewing angle?

no but i think to be honest i’ve tried everything so i’m just going to uninstall and reinstall

i need the manual install code because it doesnt automatically start
