trying to mod gta v's loading screen and music in the vanilla files

so im trying to make a mod that works online and all it effects is the images, logo and music for the loading screen when you boot up gta, so far before going in I was thinking I had to match both the image size and file sizes but now I'm confused, does the date also have to match? I've replaced one of the files for the gtav logo at the bottom left with the same vanilla file and the game refuses to launch,
any ideas?
